THE MISSION OF KIND AT HEART MINISTRIES IS TO "EXPRESS THE LOVE OF JESUS TO THE AGING & DISABLED BY PROVIDING HOPE, ENCOURAGEMENT, AND SUPPORT IN DAILY LIVING."
are impacted through Kind at Heart each year
When individuals face health-related needs that may impact their independence - whether due to age or physical disability - we have an incredible opportunity to shine light into their situation. With over 10 years of ministry under our belt, we have found that the best way to do this is through the following:
We assess fall risk, home repair needs, personal resources, and social network supports
We determine the resources needed, along with cost estimates, to support the best quality of life possible.
We mobilize local community members, group, and business to meet those needs.
THE VISION OF KIND AT HEART IS TO RAISE AWARENESS AND INCREASE INVOLVEMENT OF THE COMMUNITY, BRINGING HONOR, DIGNITY, AND CARE TO THE AGING.

This work is not our own! As the number of aging people in America continues to increase, we must all rise to the occasion! That is why we continue to work hard to be a catalyst and avenue through which local churches, businesses, and individuals can serve their neighbors in tangible and meaningful ways . . . and it shows. Volunteers pour in over 5000 hours annually; and $51,000 worth of in-kind materials & services were provided in 2019. Together, with arms linked, we can continue to meet increasing needs with the type of love that never runs out.
